Research Staff, LLMs
DeepgramFull Time
Expert & Leadership (9+ years)
Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI/ML development, with at least 2 years focusing on LLMs or NLP-related technologies. Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Langchain), SQL, and version control is required. A solid grounding in supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques, plus model-evaluation best practices, is necessary. Experience fine-tuning or integrating LLMs such as GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini, etc., along with experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), embeddings, and RAG architectures, is also required. A solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools is needed. Experience working in or supporting real estate, logistics, finance, or other asset-heavy industries is a plus.
The Lead AI Scientist will identify, design, and execute AI-driven solutions, focusing on leveraging large language models (LLMs) and generative AI to create transformative applications. Responsibilities include translating business use cases into AI opportunities, owning the end-to-end AI project lifecycle from ideation to post-launch evaluation, and developing and deploying AI and LLM models. This involves EDA, feature engineering, model selection, validation, and monitoring, as well as designing and implementing LLM-powered applications for real estate-specific challenges. The role also includes working with MLOps and engineering teams for deployment and monitoring, collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating findings to stakeholders, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and staying current on emerging algorithms and tooling for continuous improvement.
