Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • Proficiency with Relational databases (e.g., Oracle or MySQL) and/or Data Warehouse data storage (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake)
  • Experience with data sources including internal and external sources, datalakes, data warehouses such as eCDW, BIDW, etc
  • Well-versed in advanced statistical methods, traditional modeling techniques (e.g., Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series)
  • Expertise in analytics tools such as Tableau, Palantir, PowerBI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric, ForeSee/Verint
  • Strong soft skills and effective communication skills to explain analysis, data trends, and anomalies to all levels of leadership
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Dallas, TX or Bothell, WA (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve business problems, predict behaviors, identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and support decision-making
  • Develop business cases and create complex models using big data analytics tools for modeling, process integration, and recommendations for improvements to processes, financials, business models
  • Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios
  • Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts; advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions
  • Automate, build, and maintain a suite of reporting in Tableau or PowerBI
  • Manage analytics/reporting requirements for projects impacting the Online Business team, including PI planning
  • Focus on Support activities reporting and analytics; report KPI and operational detail
  • Work with partners to ensure data availability for capture and reporting
  • Monitor and attribute performance to changing conditions
  • Create and maintain reports in suite (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, Quantum Metric, ForeSee/Verint)
  • Leverage analytics, research, and long-term thinking to unlock service and support, CX, and omni channel performance gains
  • Partner substantially with cross-functional teams
