Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess experienced linguist skills with extensive translation and review experience across various content types, native language proficiency in the target language, and fluency in English. Leadership and people management skills are also required, along with additional job details such as experience with linguistic assets, translation memories, and client-facing documentation.

Responsibilities

As the Language Lead - Punjabi, the individual will supervise a team of linguists, participate in recruitment, training, and performance management, monitor team KPIs, identify training needs, coach linguists, review translations, provide feedback, act as a liaison for terminology and style issues, support the onboarding of new teams, and identify and highlight workflow issues. The role also includes quality management planning and execution, supporting the Quality Department, and ensuring language level quality oversight. Furthermore, the Language Lead will engage with clients, document meetings, implement client feedback, perform translation and review tasks, create linguistic assets, and participate in the arbitration process.
