Requirements

  • Understanding of operating processes for managing accounting treatment on Sales/COGS/AR/AP
  • Knowledge of tax regulations for tax estimation, VAT, local tax, property tax, corporate income tax, and tax audits by NTS
  • Ability to handle external audits and corporate tax returns
  • Experience with budgeting, planning, analysis, variance analysis, and expenditure monitoring
  • Skills in credit management and treasury management (e.g., revolving credit facility, daily cash monitoring, monthly cash forecast)
  • Capability to facilitate documentation of vouchers and conduct physical inventory checks
  • Proficiency in reporting tax provisions quarterly via One source
  • Strong communication skills for daily/monthly interactions between operations in China/Korea and customers in Korea, resolving disputes and reconciling items

Responsibilities

  • Address external audit and corporate tax return as necessary
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, yearly closing
  • Prepare BS review and verification
  • Manage accounting treatment on Sales/COGS/AR/AP
  • Facilitate proper documentation of vouchers at China plant
  • Handle credit management and physical inventory check
  • Conduct budgeting, planning, and analysis, including annual budget setup
  • Monitor expenditures and CAPEX to prevent overspending budget
  • Perform variance analysis of actual vs budget for office expense monthly
  • Keep spending within approved budget, including NRE, and ensure planned invoices are issued and paid
  • Ensure tax estimation complies with updated tax regulations
  • File VAT and tax returns; review local tax, property tax, corporate income tax
  • Report tax provision quarterly via One source
  • Responsible for regular tax audit by NTS
  • Manage treasury: revolving credit facility agreement, daily cash monitoring, monthly cash forecast
  • Update policies and encourage adherence to policies, rules, regulations, and laws
  • Complete cross-functional projects as needed
  • Lead risk management of insurance
  • Provide professional advice and assistance on accounting, finance, taxation, including credit control
  • Maintain daily and monthly communication channel between operations in China/Korea and customers in Korea, resolving disputes and reconciling items
