Requirements

The candidate must have 2 years of development experience with Python or another object-oriented language. They should also have experience with API, UI, or Mobile test development (Android or iOS), basic Linux experience, and an interest in Cloud technologies. A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent is required. AWS, CWNA/CCNA/CCNP certifications, knowledge of Wi-Fi and wired networking, and experience with testing and automation tools are considered assets. The ability to organize work, work independently, innovate, and demonstrate team spirit are also necessary skills.

Responsibilities

The Junior Test Automation Specialist will develop Python scripts to optimize manual test execution, including API, UI (Selenium), Mobile (Appium), and Cloud (AWS) tests. They will run and analyze automated test results, install and configure new test equipment such as Access Points, Routers/Gateways, and Switches, and deploy new tools like Docker, Jenkins, and XRay. The role also involves analyzing and reviewing specifications for the development of new features for the Aruba Instant On product line.
