Requirements

  • Technical degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in production environments
  • Proven expertise in injection molding process development
  • Familiarity with the latest injection molding machine technologies
  • Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in CAD drawing (2D and 3D)
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies
  • Support the smooth transfer of technology related to molds and injection molding machines
  • Participate in global projects
  • Support value streams in assessing moldability and evaluating product development costs
  • Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS) for injection molding-related equipment
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors and coordinate the bidding process in partnership with Procurement
  • Support concept and design reviews with internal process owners and potential external suppliers
  • Lead the process development for injection molding
  • Support or lead Design Qualification (DQ), Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT), as well as Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) activities within CAPEX projects
  • Support or lead equipment implementation
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting CAPEX expenditures for each project
