Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is essential, as is experience with RESTful APIs and web services development. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, database management and SQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is also required. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently, combined with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing Java applications to meet functional requirements, collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions. They will contribute to system architecture and design discussions, optimize applications for speed and scalability, participate in code reviews, and maintain version control. Furthermore, the Java Developer will troubleshoot and debug applications, document development processes and code changes, and provide in-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring Cloud, Docker, K8s, CI/CD tools like Github actions/Jenkins, and DevOps practices. Experience in banking/fintech is a plus.
