Requirements

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree being preferred. Experience with server-side frameworks like Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA) is necessary. Familiarity with SOAP web services, REST/JSON, XML, JSON binding libraries (jaxb, Jackson, gson), Unit Tests (Junit), GIT, Maven, Nexus, Eclipse, Bitbucket, monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace), MQ, performance tuning, JVM internals, Groovy, object-oriented programming, distributed systems, and Java design patterns is also required.

Responsibilities

The Java Backend Developer will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. This includes developing high-volume applications, building restful web services, and utilizing GIT for version control. The role involves working with monitoring toolsets and MQ, and requires experience in performance tuning and understanding JVM internals. The developer will also be responsible for unit testing and ensuring code quality.
