Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security and compliance roles. They should have strong knowledge of information security policies, compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, as well as risk management processes, and experience with security tools and technologies like firewalls and SIEM. A CISSP, CISM, or similar certification is preferred, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
The IT Security & Compliance specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to protect organizational data and IT assets. They will conduct regular security assessments and audits, monitor and analyze security incidents, collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote security best practices, provide training and awareness programs, and stay updated on the latest trends in IT security and compliance. Furthermore, they will prepare and present reports on compliance status and security incidents to management, assist in incident response planning and execution, and work closely with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
