Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in IT or logistics preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or IT support role preferred
  • Familiarity with IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment) and basic configuration processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management and asset tracking systems
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record; eligible to drive an AT&T company vehicle
  • Clearable; able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week in the posted location(s); no relocation offered

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of IT hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Unpack, label, and document incoming shipments in accordance with company procedures
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all equipment is undamaged and meets order specifications
  • Accurately enter asset and configuration information into inventory management systems
  • Coordinate with procurement, IT, and other departments to confirm delivery accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare equipment for deployment, including initial configuration, imaging, or staging as required
  • Safely handle and store sensitive equipment in compliance with company policies
  • Assist with physical inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Support asset disposal and returns processes, adhering to data sanitization and security protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, following OSHA and company safety standards
  • Document and report any damages, shortages, or other issues to management promptly
