Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
Zero (0) to three (3) years of professional experience in same or similar role
General understanding and application of information security principles, theories, and concepts
General knowledge of information security practices, concepts, and technology, including related policies, standards, and guidelines
General knowledge of information and process modeling tools and techniques
General hardware and software research and evaluation
Security awareness, including general knowledge in applying risk assessment models and IT control reliance to internal and external resources, security awareness, and information classification
Understanding of applicable state and federal legislation and regulations related to compliance indicators

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security standards, controls, and procedures for multiple platforms and various system environments (mainframe, distributed computing, web)
Provide support for new system implementations and interfacing with standardized security protocols
Ensure compliance and governance of security standards for Eversource’s on-going security awareness program and risk management strategies
Assist in the review of policy, standards, and controls aligned to operational processes for compliance monitoring and testing
Assist in process design, analysis, implementation, and testing activities to support automation and streamlining of control practices
Participate in the analysis of communication and work on recommendations for troubleshooting/training with supervisor support for business process continuity
Participate in the testing and evaluation of new products and processes
Perform administrative tasks as required
Perform first level troubleshooting, analysis, and monitoring of automated work processes for compliance to key security controls and practices
Respond to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs, including emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location
