Candidates should possess 3-5 years of professional experience in iOS development, demonstrating the ability to design and implement mobile applications effectively, and experience publishing at least one iOS application to the App Store. Strong proficiency in Swift fundamentals and a thorough understanding of iOS development principles, Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and architectural design patterns are required.
As an iOS Engineer, you will develop and maintain the Hinge iOS mobile application by implementing new product features, fixing issues, and enhancing the user experience, utilizing tools like Swift, Core Data, and Apple frameworks. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team, including product managers, technical project managers, designers, data engineers, backend engineers, and QA analysts, working closely with the Tech Lead and peers to advance the product and contribute to the engineering community. Responsibilities include cross-disciplinary collaboration, Swift proficiency, iOS expertise, issue resolution, codebase stewardship, code reviews, and active team participation, all while maintaining effective communication and fostering a positive team environment.
