Requirements

  • Demonstrate conceptual and practical understanding of performance and attribution concepts
  • Have 1 - 4 years of experience in Performance and Attribution within Asset management industry
  • Show keen interest in learning about Multi-Asset, Fixed Income and Equity instruments, and general performance principles
  • Demonstrate good programming skills with SQL, Python and Power BI
  • Passionate about learning new technologies, and eager to delving into Aladdin attribution
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
  • Prior experience with business modeling techniques and/or attribution tools (CFA or CIPM designation a plus)
  • Ability to work independently, show strong problem-solving acumen with high attention to detail, and able to synthesize information, summarize issues, and take initiative

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams globally to present a consistent client experience catalyzing a common culture; lead attribution analysis as an authority
  • Coordinate accurate and timely performance information across several fund groups while understanding the flow of information and data between the various groups and systems
  • Research residuals using the Aladdin platform and suggest resolutions
  • Gain full understanding of internal analytical systems (Aladdin), and use them to investigate internal and external client inquiries and support our growing business needs
  • Display integrity and confidence when dealing with different teams - be open to taking ownership and try to understand the data flows and dependencies
  • Support and complete various efficiency and capacity-building performance reporting initiatives, including automation/standardization efforts by using the full scope of BlackRock's technology platform
