Requirements
- Associate level (3-4 years’ experience and above)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (background in finance or similar fields preferred but not required)
- Solid understanding of economic concepts (knowledge of financial instruments and markets is a bonus)
- Comfortable working across multiple functions, geographies and partners with maturity and judgement
- Drive, high energy and sense of urgency
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of relational database concepts (including SQL) is beneficial
- Experience in working with and building strong and positive relationships with both internal and external partners
- Strong control / risk mitigation mentality; ability to apply solid judgement as to when to raise issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly
- Focus on continuous improvement and process innovation

Responsibilities
- Investment guideline monitoring of both BlackRock investment funds and client mandates across EMEA
- Pre-trade and Post-trade investment guideline exception investigation & resolution
- Working closely with portfolio management and other partners to ensure portfolio compliance
- Manual test execution
- Identification of investment guideline coding issues
- Becoming acquainted with BlackRock’s various Aladdin applications, trade flow process, data environment and investment products
- Investigating or troubleshooting potential errors when needed
- Participating in efficiency and improvement initiatives by providing ideas and suggestions on possible improvements to systems or processes
