Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier program and have 2-5+ years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or equivalent. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to influence teams and stakeholders are essential. Experience and a strong interest in the investment industry, private equity, value creation, and strategy are required. Knowledge of and experience in Infrastructure or Natural Resource companies is an asset. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Investment Associate will work on distinct projects that are meaningful to individual companies, the INR portfolio, or the PSG functional Centres of Excellence. This involves using strong relationship management and consulting skills to collaborate with investment professionals on real-world problems and seeing recommendations implemented within portfolio companies. The role includes leading analyses and potentially projects on complex questions related to growth, operational improvement, talent, and governance to determine the best outcomes for PSG, INR, and the Fund. Responsibilities also encompass identifying key value drivers and risks in Infrastructure and Natural Resources companies, preparing presentations and reports for senior investment professionals, and gaining exposure to both the breadth and depth of the portfolio companies through key portfolio-wide initiatives and specific company projects.
