Position Overview

This position seeks a motivated and organized individual to join a growing team responsible for inspecting, inventorying, and tracking semiconductor devices. The role involves following established work instructions and SOPs, contributing to the Inventory Control Team, and potentially developing new SOPs. It's a hands-on position requiring meticulous attention to detail. Key activities include incoming and in-process inspection, part labeling, database entry, microscope inspection, kitting, and part delivery to laboratories.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Inventory & Tracking: Experience with inventory and parts tracking.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Documentation Comprehension: Ability to understand and comprehend engineering documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications, requirements, and process instructions).
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Inventory Management Software (SAP, Alchemy, Costpoint, AssetSmart, etc.).
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Database Skills: Database entry and correction skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, label, and track semiconductor devices.
  • Perform visual inspection of wafers and devices for accurate wirebonding and labeling.
  • Use a microscope for inspection.
  • Database entry for device tracking.
  • Maintain and order inventory supplies.
  • Kit and track parts for processing against work orders.
  • Follow detailed Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Education

  • Minimum: High School Diploma required.
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • IPC-A-600/610/620 preferred

Special Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship: This position requires the applicant selected to be a U.S. citizen.
  • Security Clearance: An active TS/SCI with polygraph is strongly preferred. Candidates with an active Secret clearance may be considered.

Compensation

The range for this full-time position is $31.54 - $38.48 per hour + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors.
