Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift License (asset)
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records
  • Ability to read and prepare packing slips and labels
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to traverse the storeroom quickly and efficiently
  • Physically able to maintain storeroom inventory and cleanliness
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently when needed

Responsibilities

  • Records the inventory of all storeroom items
  • Maintains database, updating records to record supplies and materials received and dispensed
  • Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule
  • Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies
  • Receiving and sorting incoming spare parts, components and supplies in the appropriate locations
  • Ensures parts information is cataloged in the system and bins are properly labeled
  • Issue and distribute parts to maintenance personnel for internal usage
  • Maintain and enforce quality standards and good housekeeping protocols within the maintenance shop and spare parts stock room
  • Prepare parts kitting rack against schedule Work order
  • Other duties as assigned
