Responsibilities
Execute departmental inventory counts, processing, and sorting damaged, defective, and/or return to vendor merchandise
Reduce salvage, obtain return authorizations from vendors, and re-wrap sellable merchandise
Work cross-functionally within departments to complete related inventory control responsibilities
Work proactively with department teams to track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory count control cycles as prescribed by Home Office within assigned deadlines
Follow count processes and procedures
Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process vendor chargebacks, and package and ship merchandise returns based on vendor return policies
Maintain the correct stock/inventory status for all damaged, defective, and returned merchandise
Assess breakage logs associated with leaking, spoiled, and broken merchandise and process merchandise out
