Enrolled for the full period of the internship/thesis at a European university
Studying one of the following subjects: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Precision-Engineering, Mechatronic, Packaging, Computational, Mathematical or equivalent); Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Physics, Materials Technology and Science, Mathematical Modeling & Simulation); Natural-/Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bio Physics, Statistics, or similar)
Available for minimum 3 and up to 12 months for internship (possible start every 1st of the month); for thesis, plan for 6 months duration
Track record of academic excellence and solid technical skills
Works effectively with diverse groups by embracing creativity, innovation, curiosity, and initiative
Demonstrates outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, drive for leadership, and strong passion for technical challenges
Proficient communication in English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities
Lead exciting projects in areas like natural sciences, materials, automation, sustainability, analytics (examples include: design of innovative mechanical/electronic concepts for smart prototypes; rapid prototyping via additive manufacturing; development of sustainable packaging; feasibility studies for new raw materials; synthesis/characterization of polymers; formulation/testing of hair care products; statistical analysis of datasets; demo development for products; test method development/validation; simulation/modeling of fluids/materials; digitalization of manufacturing/supply chain; development of coaching algorithms/gamification)
