Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance, MS in Tax preferred
  • CPA certification or equivalent required
  • 8+ years of corporate international tax experience with Big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate international tax department with multinational high-tech company
  • Strong technical background in U.S. international tax law (e.g., Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII)
  • Expertise in tax technology to drive efficiency and process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or review detailed tax workpapers of US international aspects of the tax return (e.g., 5471, 8858, 1118 (FTC), 8991 (BEAT), 8992 (GILTI), 8993 (FDII), E&P)
  • Prepare and/or review withholding tax compliance (e.g., Form 1042/1042-S) including performing analysis of payments to foreign vendors, review/validate foreign vendor documentation
  • Manage PFIC status for foreign investments, proactively liaising with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information
  • Oversee US international tax aspects of quarterly and year-end provision
  • Responsible for compliance of foreign entities in EMEAI/APAC/NALA (e.g., Pillar 2, etc.)
  • Support ad-hoc tax projects as needed (e.g., tax audits, etc.)
  • Improve company’s tax functions through the implementation of tax technology
