Responsibilities

  • Research new or replacement technologies and components (Electrical Development)
  • Assist in circuit design and component selection (Electrical Development)
  • Develop test requirements and execute hardware verification test plans for board level functional testing, EMC validation, Certification Agency compliance (UL, ATEX, IECEX), and Functional Safety (IEC 61508) (Electrical Development)
  • Perform programming, analysis, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware prototypes (Electrical Development)
  • Contribute to associated product design documentation and test reports (Electrical Development)
  • Design and development of scripts for automating test procedures (Electrical and Firmware Test)
  • Document test procedures (Electrical and Firmware Test)
  • Execute test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated) (Electrical and Firmware Test)
  • Create test reports (Electrical and Firmware Test)
  • Assist with lab audit/improvement activities (Electrical and Firmware Test)
  • Assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms (Electrical and Firmware Test)
