Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing
  • A basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and defect management
  • Exposure to or the willingness to learn tools such as Postman for API testing
  • Familiarity with programming fundamentals (knowledge of Java or similar languages is a plus)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Test Case Design & Execution: Assisting in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and scripts based on system requirements and design specifications; Supporting functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing efforts
  • Defect Management: Identifying and documenting bugs clearly during testing activities, collaborating with developers and QA team members to ensure timely tracking and resolution of issues
  • Participating in ongoing project work, including testing activities
  • Automation Learning: Supporting automation efforts by identifying basic scenarios suitable for automation and learning to develop simple scripts under supervision
