Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's degree or enrolled in a Master Program in material science, chemistry, chemical engineering, computer science or equivalent
Tech savvy, programming skills (Python preferred) with a good knowledge of data analytics
Knowledge in Chemistry/Material Science (ideally polymers) is a plus
Knowledge in the areas of Chemoinformatics & Machine Learning is a plus
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Passion to learn and a collaborative mindset
Fluent in English

Responsibilities

Compile and analyze experimental data from archived projects to be utilized in data science initiatives using our electronic laboratory notebook and other databases
Participate in the development of novel cheminformatics representation and featurization methods (algorithms) specific to polymers
Participate in the development of Machine Learning models for prediction of material properties
Document data processing scripts and workflows
Assist in the automation of manual processes for dashboards
