Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Data Science, Digital Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering or a related field
Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) with an internship period of at least 4-6 months
Experience in machine learning & AI projects
Skills in SQL, Python, and R for custom analysis and data visualization
Skills in Project Management
Knowledge in Statistical Analysis
Good level of English proficiency

Responsibilities

Work on a project-based assignment focused on developing Spotfire analysis prototypes using data available in Redshift, with the goal of creating AI-assisted prediction models for selected products and/or factory KPIs
Support the development of the lights-out department's measurement tools by leveraging parameter big data modeling to enable predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis
Support the development and testing of machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists
Help create and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Spotfire to effectively communicate results to stakeholders
Document analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing within the team
Research and present emerging data science tools, techniques, and best practices that could improve current systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and operations, to translate business needs into analytical solutions
