Associate degree or above in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a closely related field
Ability to adapt to shift work, including night shifts and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
Perform testing on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, and conduct daily maintenance of testing equipment
Conduct comprehensive quality control testing on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products according to established standards and procedures
Accurately analyze test data and record results in a detailed and organized manner
Prepare comprehensive test reports, highlighting any deviations from standard values and providing preliminary interpretations
Effectively communicate test results, quality issues, and suggested solutions to cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality management
Operate and maintain various laboratory testing equipment through daily checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance to ensure good operating condition
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment faults, and report major issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Record equipment maintenance and repair history
Monitor production process quality during shifts
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly
Provide technical support to production operators on quality control matters
When detecting nonconforming products, conduct investigations to determine root causes
Propose corrective and preventive measures and follow up to ensure their effectiveness
Comply with all laboratory safety regulations and quality management system requirements
Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and company guidelines
Maintain and update quality-related documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), test records, and equipment calibration certificates
Participate in internal and external audits related to quality control
Manage laboratory consumables inventory, including reagents, solvents, and sample containers
Place orders for restocking in a timely manner to avoid disruptions to testing work due to shortages
Assist supervisors in conducting regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels match records
Ensure proper storage and handling of consumables to maintain their quality and stability
