Requirements

Candidates should have good expertise in building interfaces with React and working in Typescript. Experience in building backend API services using Ruby and Ruby on Rails is necessary, along with a philosophy in writing automated backend tests. Translating design mockups into frontend implementation and working closely with product designers for UI/UX changes are also required. A strong desire to learn Elixir and experience in picking up new programming languages is essential.

Responsibilities

The Intermediate Software Engineer will be responsible for hands-on development of features in both the frontend and backend, shipping React/Typescript code from day one. They will build customer-facing products across the entire stack, from the data model to the UI. The engineer will also collaborate with a small team, including the founders, to build a product and a company, while adapting to a quickly moving environment.
