Requirements

Subject matter expertise in the Asia Pacific region, preferably with experience in a military or government intelligence environment
Significant knowledge of Chinese military capabilities, weapons systems, and tactics, with a particular focus on China’s maritime operations and territorial claims in the South China Sea
Strong writing skills and capability to produce a high volume of quality analytic assessments under tight deadlines and with minimal review
Ability to provide a writing sample (1-3 pages, own work ideally within last 3 years, on a geopolitical or international security-related topic)
Excellence in collaborative work and strong interpersonal skills for working closely within the intelligence team and cross-functional teams
Ability to provide and receive feedback to enhance team outputs
Solution-oriented self-starter who is tech savvy, can identify problems and opportunities, and propose solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize efforts due to the pace of global events and evolving client needs

Responsibilities

Identify impactful intelligence topics based on a detailed understanding of customer intelligence needs and missions
Produce high-quality intelligence assessments that answer customers’ most important intelligence questions by following U.S. Intelligence Community intelligence analysis and writing standards
Utilize Rhombus’ AI-informed intelligence capabilities and expert research skills to gather information that serves as the foundation of intelligence products
Identify information gaps and work with the Model and Data Development team to acquire sources of information
Perform thorough research and analysis on global security topics, including foreign military activities, weapons development, regional conflicts, and country stability
Fuse Rhombus’s unique, AI-derived data with open-source information to create intelligence products
Deliver tailored briefings for internal and external audiences on topics in areas of responsibility
