Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in health information systems, information technology, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare technology, integration management, technical implementation, technical support or operations, or related field
Experience with EHR integrations (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or others) strongly preferred
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in APIs (RESTful, SOAP) and technical languages like JSON, XML, and/or SQL
Basic understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA, X12, etc.)
Basic understanding of HIPAA, data privacy, and healthcare compliance standards
Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

Lead implementation and support of HL7/FHIR/proprietary EHR integrations for medical practices
Interface directly with customers to coordinate timelines, assist with integration setup tasks, and advising on best practices
Facilitate go-live testing – execute test plans, complete data mapping, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data completeness and accuracy
Troubleshoot issues using runbook documentation and API logs
Monitor integration health by establishing monitoring metrics and practices, responding to customer-reported issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve reliability and stability
Maintain internal and external documentation of data mapping specs, workflows, runbooks, user guides, and support procedures
