Requirements

  • Ability to service, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation systems such as high purity water, compressed air, steam, chilled water, glycol, and city water
  • Engage in site calibration program
  • Display good documentation practices, especially in GMP documentation
  • Ability to perform initial calibrations of instruments
  • Ability to read P&ID drawings and schematics
  • High attention to details
  • Ability to respond quickly and proactively to changing priorities
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Global Facility Delivery (GFD)
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures such as LOTO, JHA, and CMMS work plans
  • Familiarity with Workday system for time entry and personal information
  • Familiarity with Performance Management (PM) system
  • Support for C&Q activities, including initial calibrations, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and equipment qualification

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all maintenance activities to maintain assets in compliance with cGMP and ensure equipment availability, maintenance, and repair to applicable standards
  • Installation and maintenance of new and used equipment
  • Support a safety-first, quality always maintenance team during pre-startup and startup phases
  • Review data loading into CMMS and manage workflow for data changes
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration on Process Instrumentation, Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Automatic Control Valves
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose Process Instrumentation Equipment problems and make appropriate repairs to minimize downtime
  • Perform modifications and new installations of Process instrumentation
  • Post-startup: Support site instrumentation and system change controls, including capital projects, site process improvements, C&Q activities, calibrations, shakedowns, initial/operational verification, and equipment qualification
  • Ensure ongoing continuous maintenance system improvements
  • Support communications between Operation shifts, Maintenance, and Engineering
