Requirements

  • High School/technical school or equivalent education
  • 3+ years quality control inspection experience
  • Experience in Machining industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators
  • Ability to communicate product/component deficiencies to supervisory or operational personnel
  • Ability to follow and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures
  • Willingness to cooperate with shift work, high sense of responsibility, carefulness, and obedience to company discipline and department arrangements

Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of inspections per QS requirements to maintain high quality and fulfill production plans while monitoring shop floor practices
  • Continuously comply with all GMP and company procedure document requirements
  • Perform incoming and manufacturing inspections of products/component parts per current specifications to ensure compliance with company and QSR standards
  • Stop further processing upon encountering non-conforming product conditions
  • Use gauges and inspection equipment per procedures, maintain equipment in good condition, and ensure all inspection records/reports comply with GMP and QS requirements
  • Participate in product transfer, FAI (First Article Inspection), and validation execution as needed
  • Support achievement of Inspection Team KPIs
  • No supervisory responsibilities
