Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of all standard inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gages, and comparators
  • Ability to communicate product and/or component part deficiencies to supervisory or operational personnel
  • Ability to follow and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures
  • Willingness to cooperate with shift work, high sense of responsibility, carefulness in daily work, and obedience to company discipline and department arrangements
  • Quality control inspection experience (machining industry experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of inspection per QS requirements to maintain high quality and fulfill production plans, with close monitoring of all shop floor practices
  • Continuously fully comply with all GMP and company procedure document requirements
  • Perform incoming and manufacturing inspections of products/component parts in accordance with current specifications to ensure they meet company and QSR standards
  • Stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product conditions
  • Use gauges and other inspection equipment in compliance with inspection equipment procedures, maintain them in good condition, and ensure all inspection records/reports comply with GMP and QS requirements
  • Participate in product transfer, FAI (First Article Inspection), and validation execution as needed
  • Support the achievement of Inspection Team KPIs
