Requirements

Preferred: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
Preferred: Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Support
Industry experience required, preferred minimum 10 years in Drilling and Completion Fluids product line
Preferred: Training in the product line, having taken and passed a "Drilling Fluids School"
English: Intermediate to advanced level preferred
Leadership and initiative skills, ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, identify problems, and find solutions
Analytical and organizational skills
Quick learning of software and technological applications (Power BI, Tableau)
Solid knowledge of the product line
Ability to switch methods and complete tasks if the established method is not viable
Communication with various clients and strong customer service skills
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in work requirements/assignments
Ability to prepare and organize documentation
Teamwork with field and office personnel

Responsibilities

Ability to solve technical problems and perform level 1, 2, and 3 post-analysis
Work in teams with SPB and EB level personnel, address specific needs, communicate approaches, and present respective analyses and research
Handle various clients at the local level
Perform technical analysis and practical recommendations for specific products to control fluid properties
Provide effective service by supplying clients and coordinators with service progress information, and create/implement solutions for field issues
Maintain adequate communication with the project coordinator
Monitor drilling variables to make decisions
Provide necessary support to the representative or office coordinator
Recommend appropriate drilling practices to reduce non-productive time indices
Provide ongoing support to deliver clients the most effective and environmentally safe drilling fluids, optimize well construction processes, and maximize client production
Perform all commercial activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values
