Minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems (must be shown on application and/or resume)
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and mechanical failures
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and any additional recommendations
