Requirements

At least 1 year experience in at least one of: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting, Hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC control wiring, Motor control, 3-phase wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic Systems, and ability to read and understand blueprints
Three months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months
Ability to provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S
Ability to pass a urinalysis screening (post-offer health assessment)
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a daily basis
Ability to work on feet for up to 12 hours
Willingness to work any shift (day, night, overnight), overtime, and weekends as required
Ability to work independently
Ability to read and write where required
Ability to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
Willingness to complete all required training
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery
Learning Tyson SAP software to perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor
Confirming time into the SAP system to record daily activities and create equipment history
Keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production
