Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in at least one of: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting, Hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC control wiring, Motor control, 3-phase wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic Systems, and ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Three months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a daily basis
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 12 hours
  • Willingness to work any shift (day, night, overnight), overtime, and weekends as required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and write where required
  • Ability to use math for work-related computations (e.g., machinery, fluid capacities)
  • Willingness to complete all required training
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery
  • Learning and using Tyson SAP software to perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor
  • Confirming time into the SAP system to record daily activities and create equipment history
  • Keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production
