Requirements

  • Shows up on time or before start time ready to work
  • Opportunity for daily and weekend overtime work
  • Able to work alone if necessary
  • Self starter
  • Cutting conduit, threading and bending, including 90 degree bends, stub up 90s, offsets, 3-point saddles, 4-point saddles, and kicks of varying degrees
  • Has their own hand tools
  • Understand written and verbal instruction
  • Layout conduit observing maximum bends allowed between pull points
  • Arrange pull points to allow easy access for wire installation
  • Neat in appearance and always courteous to customers and fellow employees
  • Understands the proper use and care of power hand tools
  • Adhere to strict safety rules and the proper use of PPE
  • Knows how to apply NEC electrical installations
  • Work in all types of weather conditions
  • Perform earthwork by hand or machine, pour concrete, install concrete forms, fabricate and install conduit and/or equipment supports
  • Understanding of basic electrical circuits with the ability to check voltage, and ampacity
  • Proper use of industry standard test instruments, such as multi-meter, clamp on amp probe, wire resistance tester, etc
  • Ability to install wire properly to avoid damage to insulation
  • DOT/HHS Drug Panel (pre-employment and random)
  • Valid GA drivers license
  • Have transportation to and from office for check-in
  • Be able to travel (out of state and some overnight stays; possibility a week)
