Requirements

  • Direct-service experience with vulnerable populations
  • Experience working with government agencies such as Social Services, Social Security, Health Department, etc
  • Valid driver’s license, willingness to drive clients to appointments
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and Google Drive products

  • Highly self-motivated with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible schedule for occasional work during early mornings, late evenings

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients seeking HSS assistance
  • Schedule and conduct client intakes
  • Collect client documents and maintain program files in accordance with HSS and client confidentiality guidelines
  • Attend HSS meetings to stay up-to-date on program changes
  • File monthly billing and MCR to DSHS
  • Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in carrying out all required functions as determined by World Relief and other official grantors and partners
  • Maintain open, ongoing communication with staff, volunteers, and community partners on behalf of clients, while honoring confidentiality
  • Actively participate in department meetings, staff development opportunities, program trainings, community activities, and organizational events
  • Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to facilitate volunteer connection and support for all interested cases
  • Administer the Housing Stabilization Support (HSS) Program for eligible clients
  • Help identify and procure safe and affordable housing for all clients
  • Other related duties, as assigned
