Requirements

6 months forklift experience with a single employer within the last 3 years
No gaps in employment greater than 6 months within the last 3 years
3 months of stand-up forklift experience preferred
Cold storage experience preferred
Full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs
Ability to stand for extended periods with a sense of balance
Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, and carry 70 lbs or more up to 120 lbs
May work with corrective lenses if vision problems
Must pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening
Must wear steel or composite toe boots conforming to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with slip-resistant sole covering ankles (composite toe preferred)

Responsibilities

Move product through the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
Pick and place pallets accurately and within Tyson guidelines to avoid dumps or askew pallets
Remove plastic wrap on occasion prior to depositing pallets
Communicate effectively and timely to leadership when encountering difficulties or discrepancies
Follow all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods
Ensure all product quality, authenticity, and legality procedures are followed
Complete Annual Food Defense Training
Ensure safety processes are followed consistently, promoting a safe work environment
Clean as you go throughout your work shift
Perform other duties as assigned
