Requirements
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, or in implementation/client/payer-side roles within healthcare revenue cycle management software and technology. Required knowledge includes EDI protocols and standards, specifically 27x and 83x healthcare transactions, EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, HL7), EDI mapping tools, and related software applications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies like scrum and Kanban is also necessary, along with proficiency in Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, Microsoft 365 applications, and advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities
The EDI Analyst will manage and support the electronic exchange of healthcare information, including establishing connectivity, monitoring and troubleshooting EDI transactions, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining EDI documentation, hosting working sessions with trading partners, providing training on EDI processes, and supporting automation and AI technologies. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
