Experience in healthcare, patient intake, or therapy-related roles is highly desirable, and the ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in all interactions is required.
The Healthcare Coordinator will handle inbound and outbound calls to educate patients on available therapy services, verify insurance coverage through portals and phone calls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, enter patient information into systems with strong attention to detail and accuracy, demonstrate empathy and understanding while interacting with patients, addressing their needs and concerns, leverage communication and persuasive skills to promote therapy services effectively, and utilize platforms such as ClickUp (CRM) and WebPT (EMR) to manage patient data and workflows.
