Requirements

Strong technical expertise in international tax strategy, planning, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Australia, USA, Ireland, UK, and 26+ countries)
Ability to lead and expand global tax functions, including transfer pricing compliance and intercompany arrangements
Experience in strategic tax planning to optimize global tax positions and support business growth
Proficiency in designing and maintaining effective tax processes, controls, and technology, with emphasis on automation
Capability to influence at an executive level and act as a key member of senior Finance leadership
Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills across functions, geographies, and time zones
Discipline to ensure robust worldwide compliance, risk management, and accurate documentation

Responsibilities

Manage and expand transfer pricing compliance, ensuring intercompany arrangements are executed and documented per Transfer Pricing Agreements
Oversee timely filing of tax returns and all global tax compliance (returns, disclosures, indirect tax, audits, etc.) in each jurisdiction
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of key processes, procedures, and risks, especially in core jurisdictions (Australia, USA, Ireland, UK, and others)
Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors for accurate returns, disclosures, and documentation delivered on time
Ensure prompt and accurate calculation and payment of advance taxes in relevant regions
Lead technical tax planning to optimize the Group’s global tax position and provide insights for tax efficiency and growth
Partner with management to establish and implement short- and long-term tax strategies
Monitor ROI on external tax advisers and adjust approaches as needed
Design and maintain effective processes and controls, emphasizing automation, completeness, and accuracy
Oversee accurate tax disclosures in financial statements, coordinating with advisors and auditors to meet deadlines
Ensure indirect tax compliance is managed and implement appropriate software tools
Act as a collaborative leader within Finance, resolving issues and building a strong tax foundation
Maintain strong relationships with Finance, Accounting, and global teams
Communicate effectively to identify and manage tax risks and opportunities across functions and geographies
