Requirements
The Head of Professional Practices should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Internal Audit Professional, with demonstrated experience in fast-moving environments and developing risk and control frameworks. Extensive knowledge and experience in managing Internal Audit operations across key domains, including Professional Practices, Board Reporting, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, and Project Management are required.
Responsibilities
The Head of Professional Practices will own the overarching Professional Practices, Board Reporting, and Quality Assurance Framework for the Group Internal Audit Collective, ensuring alignment with IIA Standards and the Internal Audit Code of Practice. They will manage process improvements, change, and innovation within internal audit practices, oversee the Data Analytics framework, including DA standards and collaboration with data teams, and ensure the framework evolves with organizational growth. Furthermore, they will oversee strategic initiatives, manage Board Reporting, execute the Internal Audit Quality Assurance programme, and support other Internal Audit priorities such as talent management and professional development.
