Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve Airwallex’s goals and objectives across EMEA; collaborate with senior management to define operational strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver efficiency and scalability initiatives
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple teams in the region, ensuring alignment of performance metrics, processes, and outcomes with organizational objectives and standards
Continuously evaluate and optimize existing processes and workflows; streamline operations, remove bottlenecks, and introduce new technologies or processes to drive effectiveness and customer satisfaction
Partner with regional and global stakeholders (Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Product, Technology) to ensure smooth operations, resolve challenges, and maintain clear communication
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for EMEA operations; analyze data to identify trends, measure progress, and take corrective actions
Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards; collaborate with Legal and Compliance to manage risks and maintain a strong control environment
Lead and scale the regional operations team to support expansion, ensure seamless customer experience, drive operational efficiency, and foster continuous improvement
