  • Managed managers (experience managing other leaders)
  • Enjoys coding and stays up-to-date on technology (great leaders were great engineers who love the craft and never give it up)
  • Did not go into management as the only growth path available (genuine passion for leadership)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP of Engineering (Abhik) and counterpart in EMEA (Colin) to scale the unique engineering culture
  • Manage a remote team of 20 engineers and 2 Engineering Managers (EMs) covering specializations like Product Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, and Design Engineers
  • Grow the team to 40 engineers and 5-6 EMs over the next year
  • Double the Engineering team thoughtfully in the next year using experience and leadership
