Requirements

Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations for chick processing, including grading, vaccination, and packing
- Supervise staff: assign tasks, train employees, and ensure adherence to hatchery protocols and safety measures
- Manage chick processing: oversee grading chicks, mixing and administering vaccines, and packing for shipment
- Maintain quality and accuracy: ensure correct count, flock, and vaccination program for each order; minimize errors in paperwork and processing
- Coordinate logistics: manage work flow, keep accurate chick inventory, and track flocks through the hatchery process
- Maintain a clean and safe environment: ensure areas, equipment, and chick room are cleaned and sanitized to meet biosecurity standards
- Handle equipment: perform routine checks and basic maintenance on hatchery equipment
- Complete hatchery paperwork and prepare production reports
- Ensure team follows standard operating procedures and maintains high standards for biosecurity and animal welfare
- Coordinate with hatchery management to fulfill orders and manage chick flow
