Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Solid experience and proficiency with electrical circuit design, schematic design, and schematic capture tools
Clear proficiency with multiple aspects of hardware design, including digital logic design, CPU subsystem design, clocks, signal integrity, power delivery, and analog components
Experience with board design layout and familiarity with multiple-layer board considerations
Team project experience outside of coursework
Hands-on experience testing L2/L3 products with Ethernet packet generators
Passion for building hardware projects and solving challenging problems
Skilled debugging capability and intrinsically curious about how things work
Understanding of how PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, and high speed SerDes work at the hardware level
Capable scripting skills using Python
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated team player, capable of working in a fast-paced R&D environment
Understanding of Ethernet routing and switching
Familiarity with FPGAs and Verilog
Comfortable in a Unix/Linux environment

Responsibilities

Support senior team members on assigned technical projects as determined by the business unit
Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues
Actively provide hands-on support in the lab for hardware quality initiatives and suggest solutions
Interface with cross-functional teams during the product development cycle
Engage in learning about new technologies and methodologies relevant to work
Fulfill tasks and responsibilities assigned by a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner
Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback on assigned projects/initiatives
