Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or related life sciences discipline
  • Proven background and combined experience in practical bioprocess applications, marketing, product management or (technical) sales in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and process skills: technically regarding filterability as well as business intelligence analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills to deliver content for documents and presentations
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to travel up to 25% globally
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the prefilter portfolio business plan, including product strategy, new product developments, pricing, and all stages of a product family’s lifecycle
  • Provide oversight on product strategy and expertise for Depth Filtration products
  • Function as the point of contact for questions and problem solving for internal business partners and external customers
  • Manage the Depth Filtration portfolio and comply with all site Quality Management System requirements
  • Seek new market opportunities for portfolio innovation
  • Guide Engineering and suppliers in the design of new product features and manage the development through a stage-gated process
  • Maintain the product portfolio by portfolio optimization and sustainability programs through the complete post-launch product lifecycle management
  • Engage with customers on depth filters to translate their business requirements and customer problems into problem statements and product concept maps for research and development teams
  • Bring products to market, including documentation and marketing material, strategy, and campaigns
  • Partner with marketing to create compelling customer-facing material and commercial sales tools
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with commercial team members
  • Conduct cross-functional communication, including operational involvement
