Requirements

The Global HEOR Manager requires experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), specifically within the Diabetes Care Division, and a strong understanding of market access activities. They should possess the ability to develop and deliver HEOR strategies and tactics targeting stakeholders involved in funding and utilizing ADC products, along with experience in conducting Health Economic analyses, Outcomes Research/RWE studies, and Market Access initiatives. Strong collaboration skills and knowledge of reimbursement principles are also essential, as is the ability to serve as a “content expert” on HEOR and HTA, ensuring scientific soundness and alignment with payer needs.

Responsibilities

As a Global HEOR Manager, the primary responsibility is to support market access activities for the Abbott Diabetes Care Division portfolio, developing and delivering HEOR strategies and tactics to ensure strong brand uptake and growth worldwide. This includes collaborating with cross-functional partners across EMEA, US, LATAM, and APAC regions to initiate and execute Health Economic analyses, Outcomes Research/RWE studies, and Market Access initiatives. The role involves building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as physicians, payers, HTA bodies, and KOLs, to maximize patient access globally and ensure the development of state-of-the-art Health Economic and Outcomes Research studies.
