Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical or Manufacturing/Production Engineering or Polymer Engineering or Material Engineering with a strong commercial or economics background
Or Bachelor’s degree in Economic or Business Administration with a strong technical background or similar experience
Interest and/or experience in the Automotive Industry (Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality Engineering, Procurement, …)
Willingness and/or experience in working cross-functionally in an international corporate environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Experience with cost calculation and cost breakdowns
Fluency in English, additional language is a plus
Ability to work self-directed at a fast pace dealing with multiple tasks simultaneously, predisposition to analytical problem solving, and good communication skills
Responsibilities
Internal workload pipeline management
Data consolidation and verification for short term requests
Maintaining multiple data sources and tables for the Siemens Team Center calculation software
Running updates and verifying data for the Siemens Team Center calculation software
Offer analysis and cost breakdown analysis for manufacturing equipment
Perform standardized supplier evaluations
Support on performing should-cost calculation for Emissions, Thermal and Turbocharger components, namely of purchase parts in multiple commodities and manufacturing technologies (e.g., Plastic injection molding, Ceramics, Power Metal, Sintering and associated secondary processes)
