Requirements

Qualified lawyer with expertise in commercial legal matters, particularly in OTC (over-the-counter) healthcare products
Ability to provide strategic legal advice on advertising/marketing, competitor challenges, brand rights, product development, patents, regulatory, compliance, corporate communications, and business transactions
Experience supporting global marketing and R&D organizations
Knowledge of marketing operations, including website accessibility, content approval processes, AdTech issues, and digital governance
Based in Nyon, Switzerland, with expected office attendance 2-3 days per week
Strong collaboration skills to partner with local legal teams, business stakeholders, Global Category Legal Lead, Trademarks Senior Counsel, Patents Senior Counsel, and Global Marketing Services team

Responsibilities

Strategically partner with OTC category teams to deliver high-quality legal advice and day-to-day support, working closely with local legal teams and stakeholders for timely, practical solutions
Provide claims support for strategic projects, including attending review meetings and managing approvals
Offer practical legal guidance for local advertising law challenges, balancing risk management with business ambition
Deliver contractual support for OTC-specific matters to achieve commercial objectives with robust legal protection
Lead creation, maintenance, and rollout of toolkits and trackers for harmonized, efficient legal support to local lawyers and Global Marketing teams
Monitor changes in legislation relevant to the OTC category and proactively share updates to ensure compliance and readiness
Act as the first point of contact for OTC global category legal issues
Provide support to the Global Marketing Services team on marketing operations, including product website accessibility, marketing governance (e.g., content approval processes), AdTech issues, and digital governance matters
Partner with colleagues in market and Haleon Legal Compliance & Company Secretariat (LCCS) for broad expertise and support to achieve business objectives
